  • History of the brand

    • Costume National was established in Italy in 1986 under the impulse of Ennio Capase, creative director who was previously assistant designer Yohji Yamamoto, and his brother Carlo, president of the fashion house. Initially meant for women, Costume National rapidly opened itself to the masculine world and was in no time sought after all over the world.

    • In the collections cut between Costume National Men and C’N’C, Costume National Men lauds a constant evolution in phase with its time, such an interpretation of current trends rather than imposing its own style and aesthetic. Costume National Men revives tailoring this season by favouring the fluidity and lightness of materials: nice to wear while having an impeccable cut, the brand puts great emphasis on the finest of materials. From jackets to shirts, this season the brand offers a wardrobe in a palette of relatively sober colours, while energizing everything with an ultra-colourful touch, such as a refined colourblocking.
